In order to practice clinical social work, you must hold a masters degree in social work from an accredited university, and be licensed in the State of North Carolina. Applicants must pass a clinical exam and complete a minimum of 100 hours of supervision while working to receive 3000 hours of professional experience. I attended two of the most historic educational institutions in Durham; Hillside High School and North Carolina Central University of which I am a proud alumnus to both. In 2011, I completed my Masters in Social Work at North Carolina A&T State University (in conjunction with UNC-Greensboro) and began my career as a clinical social worker.
